First Presbyterian Church is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and Holston Presbytery in the Synod of Living Waters. As one of the oldest churches in Tennessee, the history of First Presbyterian Church is intertwined with the history of East Tennessee. Located in the heart of the downtown historic district of Greeneville, the church has been an integral part of the community life of Greeneville and Greene County for over 200 years.
